Some love just shows through. It is transparent. You can't hide it. It makes you feel better, it makes your body change, it makes your life different.
Carly and Ryan have that kind of love. It's obvious and they are opening to it more and more everyday. Together. They want to grow together and they do. No matter what. It is really special to see a love that is flexible, a love that is accepting, a love that is willing to move and dance and expand no matter what. He holds a place for her that is open and willing and she leads with grace.
As I reflect on the two of them together my heart swells just enough to know what I am feeling is real. What they share, is real.
I am reflecting on the two of them a lot today and thinking of her fondly in honor of her birth and her journey to standing Rock.
I am thinking about the ways love requires us all to be rocks. To stand for the truths it offers us in those small yearnings or if we are lucky, sometimes, those big pushes towards the real. The ways it requires us all to be strong and steadfast, to use our voice, and to speak clearly for what matters. Thinking about Carly Standing at Standing Rock and Ryan standing for Carly creates such a composition of unconditional love and support,a vision of UNITY and HOPE.
I am thankful for the opportunity to know this love.
I am greater because of it.
My prayers and highest of wishes to both Carly and Ryan.
My prayers and highest of wishes to all of the many tribes at Standing Rock,
to our Mother Earth, to the BodyHeart Temple.
My prayers and highest of wishes to all mankind.
May we all stay open to explore the places that the heart truly calls us to.
May we move forward in the face of fear and
may we truly take a stand.
Happy Birthday, Carly..
I miss you.
